Nintendo claimed that the 3ds was up there in power, claiming that it was even as powerful as the Wii. Most of us were skeptical and needed proof and after the press conference, we had all the proof we needed. The 3DS is indeed comparable to a Wii in terms of power. The graphics are currently around that of the Gamecube and with the images being rendered in 3D (a system needs more power to do this) it can be argued that it is as powerful as the Wii, maybe even more powerful. We still do not have the hardware specs, only these pretty screens to go by when judging the 3DS.
